Tsz Shan Monastery is a prominent Buddhist monastery located at Tai Po. The monastery covers an area of 500,000 square feet. The monastery is renowned for its 76-meter-tall bronze-cast statue of Guan Yin (Avalokiteśvara), which is one of the tallest Guan Yin statues in the world. The statue stands on a three-tier bronze lotus platform and is built upon a 6-meter-high granite base. The monastery consists of three main buildings arranged along a central axis, including the Grand Courtyard, Main Hall, and Universal Gate Hall. The monastery also features a Buddhist Art Museum and Dormitory for 90 persons with single and double rooms.
