Runway Park

Kai Tak

Phase 1 (at 2.77 ha) of the Runway Park is located at the tip of the former Kai Tai Runway. The main design theme of the park emphasizes an aviation theme; historical Kai Tak artefacts, such as the Red/White arrival checkboard, are kept along the seawall, and the main circulation path of the park also respects the historical alignment of the Kai Tai Runway. Furthermore, in the overall master planning of the park, a disused 2-storey historical fire station would be converted into a visitor centre.
