For the 17 ha site near Shenzhen University and the educational institutions, the client asked for a "scholastic" environment for the 28,000m² development for 2,800 apartments. The master plan is organized like a campus, with a longitudinal common open space as the central focus and apartments arranged in clusters similar to individual schools. The treatment of the major courtyard spaces intends to represent - Virtue, Wisdom, Body, Group, and Beauty - 5 aspects of aspiration in modern Chinese Education.
